More Great Foliage

Last week’s post about Alberto Sanchez’s leaf swing reminded me of another cool leaf-shaped item. I saw these silicon plates at the MOMA Store (http://www.momastore.org). I would love to have them on my table. They are by the Japanese designer, Nao Tamura.

‘Lichen’ the Holidays!

I’ve been wanting to make a really cool holiday wreath for a long time and finally did this year — with Tobey’s help.  Here it is hanging on my front door.  The lichen comes from a couple in Alabama who collect  it on their property. Happy Holidays!

Love is in the air!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Horn! My little sister-in-law was married last weekend.  And here is a wreath my wife and I made for their honeymoon suite. Trivia: Can you guess how many roses it took to complete this 18″ diameter wreath? Answer: 100
